It would appear that there is a contingent of Democrats meeting behind the scenes.
Those individuals also include some of the big-money donors of the party.
The discussion… what do they do if Joe Biden drops out and they need to replace him.
No Faith
There is not a lot of faith that Joe Biden will actually stay in this race through the primary right now.
Joe has not been active on the campaign trail at all.
There are very few high-profile Democrats out there stumping for Biden right now.
There have also been reports that the grassroots efforts for Biden are failing miserably.
This is starting to create a sense of urgency among the power brokers in the party.
It is also why we are seeing the big Democrat money remain on the sidelines just in case a pivot is needed.
As these rumors surfaced, the Biden team was working to put them down.
His campaign stated, “It’s a persistent sense that the inner circle of advisers to the president and several of the very few aides who have been hired for his re-election campaign dismiss as absurd.
“Of course, he is running, they say. Of course, they’re taking preparations very seriously.”
Worries aside, Biden is blowing a major opportunity to raise money and get ready for what will be a very costly general election, regardless of the opponent.
Republicans are going to throw everything and the kitchen sink at Biden, and it will cost money to counter those attacks.
