It would appear that DeSantis is one step closer to making the big announcement we are all waiting on.
DeSantis announced a tour of blue cities to visit their police departments.
This set off Democrats and even got Trump’s attention.
Small Events
I have already seen Trump trashing the turnout for DeSantis on this front, so we need to make this very clear.
These are NOT campaign events.
They are small intimate events that DeSantis is holding with local police unions and officials.
DeSantis’ team told Fox News, “DeSantis will begin the tour Monday morning by speaking with police officers and law enforcement union officials at a diner in the red-leaning borough of Staten Island.
“The governor will then head to Fort Washington, a Philadelphia suburb, and Elmhurst, Illinois, near Chicago, where he will meet with sheriffs, chiefs of police and other local law enforcement officials.”
In addition to Trump, local Democrats at each site are going off on DeSantis because they know he is the biggest threat.
For instance, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker stated, “Well he doesn’t represent the values of the people in Illinois.
“In fact, he is the antithesis of that.
“He’s demonstrated that he’s homophobic, that he has tendencies to promote racism.”
That is all Democrats have… he’s a racist!
