The Puerto Rican Punisher is a legitimate hero.
The former pro wrestler now works as a bouncer at a Tampa Bay strip bar called Mons Venus.
His real name is Manny Resto, which, honestly, also sounds like a wrestling name, and he stopped a mass shooting that could have left dozens dead.
A Real Hero
I have been to Mons Venus, and let me tell you, that place was likely packed to the gills when all this went down.
The alleged gunman, Michael Rudman, approached the club in a devil’s mask and weapon.
Thankfully, the Punisher was stationed outside and saw the weapon.
He immediately went after Rudman, getting the gun away from him and tussling with him before another bounced jumped into action.
The Punisher ends up pistol-whipping Rudman, and it appears that the weapon discharged in the process, but, luckily, it only hit the wall.

Resto stated, “I saw him raise his hand his hand, and he had a gun. I saw him point it towards the door, and I decided that he was not going to enter the club and hurt anybody.”
Interim Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw added, “We’re all thankful for their heroism.
“I have no doubt that had they not stepped in, many lives would have been lost.”
At least we all know we can get to Mons Venus and get some lap dances without having to worry about getting shot as long as the Punisher is on duty!
