Democrats are eating their own again, but this time I actually agree with them.
Numerous Democrats are now calling for the resignation of Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA).
While she has not resigned, she has made a major concession.

More than a month ago, Feinstein was diagnosed with shingles.
She has not been back in DC since.
Her doctor told her flying would only aggravate the condition, but they also only expected her to be out for a couple of weeks.
Without Feinstein in place, the Dems lose their advantage, which is holding judiciary appointments.
There have also been numerous reports that do not paint her mental health as being in a positive light.
Prominent Democrats are now calling for her resignation, including Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA).
It’s time for @SenFeinstein to resign. We need to put the country ahead of personal loyalty. While she has had a lifetime of public service, it is obvious she can no longer fulfill her duties. Not speaking out undermines our credibility as elected representatives of the people.

Feinstein did finally cave, just not on the resignation.
Instead, Feinstein agreed to step away from her Senate Judiciary Committee assignment and allow Schumer to appoint someone else, at least temporarily, until she is capable of returning.
Schumer’s office responded to the request, “Per Sen. Feinstein’s wishes, Majority Leader Schumer will ask the Senate next week to allow another Democratic Senator to temporarily serve on the Judiciary Committee.”
She should have never run for office in 2018, let alone winning, but that just goes to show you how mindless voters can be these days.
