It would appear not everyone believes the Democrat narrative that a coup was about to take place on January 6.
Former Acting Defense Secretary Chris Miller had a bit of a different take.
While discussing the riot with Tim Pool, he hardly had the alarm in his explanation that most Democrats had in theirs.
Never Happen
Miller left little to doubt in his explanation of the events of that day.
He stated, “I was running the military. There was no coup.
“Can’t happen. … There was gonna be no military coup.
“I spent my life in service to this country and I swore to protect and defend the Constitution.
“If it came down to that, the president … wasn’t going there.”
In a separate interview, Miller stated, “I think the investigation has revealed that that did not happen, that there was not some sort of cabal or some sort of conspiracy to delay the response to Capitol Hill.”
There is little doubt the riot was an embarrassing event that never should have happened.
I have never hidden the fact that I thought it was foolish for Trump to even appear at the event.
Having said that, as bad as the happenings were that day, Democrats twisted them even more to score political points.
