The hypocrisy of our politicians turns my stomach.
We all remember the catcalls and jeering when Trump did his State of the Union addresses.
Now new Democrat Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), arguably one of the most arrogant and self-righteous members of Congress, is on his high horse calling out Republicans for lack of décor.
Childish
After the SOTU was over, Jeffries stated, “The behavior of the extreme MAGA Republicans speaks for itself.
“And I’m confident that the overwhelming majority of the American people found that aggressive, childish, petulant behavior by the extreme MAGA Republicans who were yelling and screaming on the floor of the House during President Biden’s State of the Union address to be distasteful.”
He seems to forget how Democrats acted when Trump was giving his SOTU address.
Ironically enough, the boos and catcalls came after Trump had put an offer on the table to give amnesty to more than one million illegal immigrants.
This was Democrats when Trump was discussing chain migration…
And how about Nancy Pelosi ripping up the speech…
If that is not childish behavior, I don’t know what it is.
Take your righteous attitude, Mr. Jeffries, and please stick it where the sun does not shine.
