The man that may hold the key to the Biden family corruption is not yet willing to spill the beans.
Congress has asked art dealer Georges Berges to give up the buyers list from Hunter Biden’s art sales.
For now, Berges is holding out, refusing to give up the list.
Not Happening
When Hunter’s art show was held, it was done under the premise that the buyers’ names would be kept confidential.
The White House put a rule in place that the names were to be withheld so there would not be a conflict of interest.
We are supposed to believe that Joe Biden and Hunter Biden do not know who shelled out tens of thousands of dollars for this crappy artwork.
Considering Hunter’s penchant for selling access to his father, does anyone really believe this is true.
Regardless, that is the premise that Berges is using to keep the list out of the hands of Congress.
His attorney stated, “Providing the documents and information requested in your letter seemingly would defeat the efforts of Mr. Biden and the White House to avoid the ‘serious ethics concerns’ that you raise.”
He added that the confidentiality of the buyers must be maintained “because if the White House was not aware of those buyers, it would seem impossible for the administration to grant the buyers any favors based on the purchases.
“In light of these considerations, providing the documents and information requested in
your letter seemingly would defeat the efforts of Mr. Biden and the White House to avoid the ‘serious ethics concerns’ that you raise.
“Mr. Bergès hopes that you and Mr. Biden can resolve that tension.”
I would reply that the names can be given to Congress behind closed doors and investigated to see if they were any influence peddling.
The American people as a whole do not need to know who these people were, but Congress’ oversight demands that we be assured Biden was not selling off influence to help his drug addict son financially.
