It looks like one of Putin’s generals made a very big mistake.
Someone decided that it would be a good idea to have Russia’s elite special forces units on the ground during the war with Ukraine.
What ended up happening, if reports are accurate, is that most of Putin’s special forces have been killed.
Decimated
As much as 90 percent of Putin’s special forces are reportedly dead.
Of the 900 troops deployed from 346th Spetsnaz unit, just 125 remain active.
The 25th Spetsnaz Regiment was reportedly wiped out.
They estimate that it takes about four years for every soldier to be trained before they are ready to be deployed.
At the earliest, it will take Putin about 10 years to replenish the special forces to levels that it was at before the war on Ukraine.
This all happened because a Putin general deployed the men hoping they could add momentum to the effort, but they failed, and the entire idea failed.
Now Russia is reeling.
