The complete and utter lack of logic that liberals exhibit in their thinking just astounds me sometimes.
By their own advertising, they are supposed to be the party of tolerance and inclusion. Yep, that’s supposed to be their whole thing.
However, just like the way the burger in the television commercial never looks like the one you get at the restaurant when you actually see them in action you come to find out pretty darn quickly that they are some of the most intolerant people on the planet.
I saw this in action recently. I was eating lunch with an old friend of mine and he was telling a joke where the punchline was quite literally the words “Tell him Donald Trump’s on the phone”. It was a joke about ordering a pizza.
Quicker than you can say “woke maniac”, an actual woke maniac at another table began starting a one-sided argument with my friend over immigration reform when in all my friend was doing was telling a joke about Donald Trump ordering a pizza. It’s a joke he came up with when we were in high school decades ago.
Thankfully the manager of the place told this lunatic to shut his damn mouth.
For folks that are supposed to be so tolerant, the mere mention of someone or something they don’t agree with politically. Imagine if George H.W. Bush slapped someone every time they said the word broccoli.
This hateful aspect of the woke nonsense even trickles down to folks that belong to the ethnic and racial groups that these liberals claim to be championing the rights and free speech of.
Roland Fryer, a noted black economist was caught up in this storm after he published a paper that found out that despite what liberals will tell you there is no real racial bias when it comes to police-involved shootings.
He reran the data several times through several different methods and found out that race had nothing to do with it.
People immediately began pouncing on him. Now, his paper was north of a hundred pages long and included some material in it that you’d have to know your stuff to be able to understand. Also, that thing took me quite a long time to read.
He had people within four minutes emailing him telling him that he was a liar and he was wrong. For context of how unbelievable this is, the pot pie I microwaved for lunch today took nine minutes to fully cook.
It’s gotten so bad for Roland Fryer that he now has to have a bodyguard with him everywhere he goes, including a last-minute trip to buy diapers for his newborn child. Think about that for a moment. The type of people that would compel someone to do something like that, do they sound tolerant to you?
