No matter how famous a person gets, it always seems that there are people that knew them before they were some big shot celebrity. There’s two classes of people in that regard, the folks who were always the same no matter what and the people who had the celebrity go straight to their heads.
One person who seems to have let the celebrity go straight to their head is Taylor Swift. Shoot, you can’t even walk outside your door some days without hearing about Taylor Swift.
That being said, there is someone that we learned about recently who knew the head Swiftie in charge “way back when”, and has decided to spill the beans about her before she was on every radar in the known world.
Jessica McLane found herself roaming the same high school halls as our “favorite” celebrity, and in that time managed to get a reasonably good opinion of what she was like before she was old enough to do anything an adult is legally allowed to do.
Jessica intimated that Taylor seemed to make everyone around her pretty insecure as her star began to rise, almost to the point of out-and-out jealousy from other students. Despite her being a complete pain in the neck to everyone with sense now, Taylor Swift did seem to put in the work when it came to her career.
That being said, it would be fair to say that she changed a great deal as based on recent events, she’s proved she hasn’t exactly been all too grateful of a person to those who helped her along the way.
Jessica further went on to say that she didn’t roam the same halls as Taylor Swift for all that long as she eventually stopped going to public school altogether and began homeschooling. Maybe the pressure of keeping up the facade of being humble around other students became too much for her to handle.
It certainly makes a heck of a lot of sense to think that Taylor Swift has always been like the way that she is today. I mean, if the pressure of pretending to be nice is so much that you end up wanting to wall yourself off, I would say it’s someone that has been a pain in the butt from the time that she was old enough to sing.
But Jessica McLane’s statement about her “good old school chum” should be taken as a bit of a word of warning to every celebrity that goes around acting like their crap doesn’t stink.
There are always people who are going to be able to pop up in this day and age and tell people what you are really like when the lights aren’t on. That kind of thing can cost you millions in the long run.
