It would appear that Fox News is in a bit of a mess right now.
The Tucker Carlson separation has hit the network much harder than anticipated.
In the span of only three days, the network shed about one million viewers in the Carlson time slot.
Now, there are rumors that Fox is scrambling, possibly trying to block Carlson from getting on the air before the 2024 election is concluded.
Stop Him
Carlson’s time slot was always the Holy Grail.
However, somehow, Fox always managed to survive after a major personality left, but that is not happening with Carlson’s spot.
His viewers are very loyal, and if he lands somewhere else or decides to launch his own station, much like Megyn Kelly did, Fox could be in trouble.
That being said, rumors are surfacing that Fox may try to hold Carlson to his contract that runs through the 2024 election just to keep him on the sidelines.
Keep in mind, Fox also separated from Dan Bongino, another favorite of the MAGA world.
Fox is treading in some very dangerous waters, so they better proceed carefully or that cherished number-one ranking will be a thing of the past.
