Late-night TV hosts like Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert have protected Biden from the outset.
During the election season, Biden was off limits for their fodder.
Now, however, even they can no longer look the other way, and Stephen Colbert did an opening monologue this week that will likely put him on the naughty list of the White House.
That’s right, Jack!
Colbert was focusing on an interview that Biden had with Al Roker during the Easter Egg Roll event at the White House.
Roker asked, “I was just wondering, Mr. President, will you be taking part in the Easter Egg Rolls, planning on after 2024?
Biden replied, “I plan on at least three or four more Easter Egg Rolls. Maybe five… Maybe six, what the hell? I don’t know.”
Roker tried again, “Are you saying that you would be taking part in our upcoming election in 2024?”
Biden continued, “I’ll either be rolling an egg or end up being the guy who’s pushing ’em out.”
Colbert then went into impression mode, stating, “That’s right, Jack!
“I got big Easter news: Joe Biden can lay eggs. Easy as pie.
“No, I push ’em right out the cloaca. Serve ’em up scrambled, or sit on ’em for a while, raise a beautiful flock of little baby Joes, ‘peep, peep, peep.’
“Point is, I am mentally fit to once again run for president of the United States.
“What’s goin’ on? Where’s Jill? Marco! Jill-o!”
Dr. Janette Nesheiwat, a family and emergency medical professional, commented on Joe Biden’s mental state afterward.
She stated, “The job of the presidency is a very demanding stressful job.
“We must ensure our leader is physically mentally and emotionally capable, especially when it comes to, decisions, regarding life and death and the overall health, safety, and well-being of our nation.”
