Reports started to blow up all over social media that Mike Pence had filed to run for president in 2024.
Pence, however, had never made a formal announcement.
As it turns out, the whole thing seems to be a prank by an unknown source.
There was actually a filing with the FEC.
The name on the filing read “Mr Mike Richard Pence,” but it was not THE Mike Pence.
In all of Pence’s former filings, his name was listed as Michael Pence.
His campaign also refuted the reports…
I think someone pranked you

Spokesman Devin O’Malley confirmed, “Former Vice President Mike Pence did not file to run for President today.”
Pence is definitely thinking about running, stating that he has been inspired by the reception he has received around the country.
He stated, “The fact that people are now getting to know me and my family, our faith, our conservative convictions better, has been a great source of encouragement as we think about the way forward and what our calling might be in the future.”
Can Mike Pence win a presidential election?
Well, I don’t even think he can win a primary, but he can be a great asset to someone else’s campaign.
Trump supporters will never get behind him, and regardless of whether Trump wins the nomination or not, without his supporters, there is not a Republican in the party that can win a general election.
If Trump runs and loses the primary, then throws a hissy fit and tells his supporters to sit out the election, he hands Democrats the White House for another four years.
If he does that, he truly will be a man on an island because conservatives in this country will never forgive him.
