Former President Donald Trump made a pledge that should he be re-elected in 2024, he would appoint a “real” special counsel to investigate alleged corruption by President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden.
This comes after Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed U.S. Attorney David Weiss to oversee the investigation into Hunter Biden.

David Weiss had been attempting to slip through a sweetheart plea deal for Hunter last month, which called for probation and minor fines plus immunity from future prosecution related to the first son’s shady overseas business deals.
The plea deal included two misdemeanor tax evasion crimes with an agreement that Hunter would remain drug free for two years so that the gun possession charge could be dropped.
An IRS whistleblower reported that over $1.2 million in taxes had not been paid by Hunter during 2017 and 2018.
In addition, Weiss let the statute of limitations run out on tax years 2014 and 2015 which included felony charges that could have been brought against him easily.
It is clear why this individual was chosen as special counsel—the Bidens wanted him there.
In a video posted on Truth Social, Trump suggested this so-called special counsel will be removed upon his reelection as president in 2024.
He stated it has become 100 percent proven that the Biden family received more than $20 million from foreign countries while Joe was Vice President—and likely much more than this amount had ever been found before.
Trump went on to question what they were doing getting all of this money?
He proclaimed his belief that we have a compromised president who was bribed and now being blackmailed—a Manchurian Candidate whose fear of China prevents him from confronting them about their money dealings with him or anyone else within our country’s borders.
Before justice can prevail however, Donald must first overcome obstacles standing in his way like the multiple indictments leveled against himself.
