Nashville police released the body came footage from the two officers credited with taking out Audrey Hale, the Nashville school shooter.
This is the first time that I can ever recall such footage being released, especially so soon after the shooting.
Americans can now see just how heroic these officers were.
It also paints a much worse picture of the cowardice that took place in Uvalde.
Let’s Get in There
The general rule of thumb when you respond to an active shooter call is that you go in, immediately, to try to neutralize the shooter.
While the police in Uvalde failed on that front, these officers were inside that building within minutes of arriving.
The pulled up, got their gear, and went into the building.
Clearly there was some military and/or elite tactical training done here because their approach was almost flawless.
Then, when they had the shooter close enough to take out, the officer did not hesitate to fire, immediately registering a hit, with the second officer ensuring the shooter would not get up again…

That, my friends, is heroism and duty.
What that crew did was amazing and God only knows how many lives they saved by not hesitating.
