Miami, Florida, is officially out of control.
Last weekend, all hell broke loose thanks to spring breakers taking over beaches.
After three years of not being able to do spring break, they were ready for action, apparently too much.
Chaos
The daytime scene in Miami and other Florida cities has been insane.
These kids are hitting the beach and pouring booze down their throats all day.
By nighttime, the beer muscles are out, and it is carrying over into the streets.
This past weekend, there were two shootings in Miami, which has led to a massive crackdown by police.
This coming weekend, the police are putting a curfew in place to try to quell the violence and insanity that has been taking place.
From midnight to 6:00 a.m., the streets will be shut down.
Miami’s mayor put this off as long as possible, not wanting to hurt local businesses because of an isolated incident.
Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber previously said: “Given that this seems to have been an isolated incident occurring before midnight, and the crowds have been otherwise calm, it would be hard to justify and legally defend an organized curfew.”
That has clearly changed now, with numerous fights and two shootings taking place already.
We should all feel comfortable in the fate of the country knowing that we will be turning it over to such find and upstanding citizens.
