The sickening and outrageous attacks against civilians continued by Putin.
This time it was numerous missile strikes made purposely to hurt civilians.
The strikes were a response to the bridge explosion near Crimea.
Flury of Missiles
On Monday, Putin fired off missile attacks in about a half-dozen cities in Ukraine, many of them tourist attractions.
The strikes occurred in Lviv, Ternopil, and Zhytomyr in western Ukraine, Dnipro and Kremenchuk in central Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia in the south, and Kharkiv in the east.
The strikes also occurred during rush hour, with Putin clearly hoping to harm civilians.
After the strike, Putin stated, “The Kyiv regime, with its actions, has put itself on the same level as international terrorist organizations.
“With the most odious groups. To leave such acts without a response is simply impossible.”
In addition to killing at least 10 people, Putin also managed to hit key grid locations, leaving significant portions of the country without power.
Ukrainian President Zelensky stated, “They are trying to destroy us and wipe us off the face of the earth.”
Not to be smarta$$, but that is the entire purpose of war.
Zelensky may have no choice but to start to respond in kind and carry out long-range missile attacks at key Russian targets.
If that happens, it will be a game changer in regard to NATO’s involvement in this war.
