The wildfires in Maui have been devastating.
At least 80 Americans have tragically lost their lives, and billions of dollars worth of damage has been caused.
Former President Donald Trump recently sent a heartfelt message to the victims and urged the Biden administration to do more to assist.

In his address, Trump expressed his sympathy for those affected by the tragedy, saying that it should never have happened.
He was particularly critical of Joe Biden’s response, which he felt was inadequate given the gravity of the situation.
When Biden was asked about the situation, he smiled and said simply “no comment”.
In contrast to this superficial attitude towards disaster relief, Biden later announced $700 assistance would be provided for those impacted by the fires – something that Trump found insufficient but nevertheless welcomed as an attempt at tackling what is becoming a much bigger problem.
As residents of Hawai'i mourn the loss of life and devastation taking place across their beautiful home, we mourn with them.
Like I've said, not only our prayers are with those impacted – but every asset we have will be available to them.

Trump concluded his speech with words of comfort and love for those who lost family members in this tragedy: “To the families affected, I give you my love and sympathy,” he said. “Nothing can ever replace your loved ones, but you will always have the memories and will feel their great love surrounding and embracing you.”
As we continue to grapple with this tragedy, it is important that we remember our collective duty to help each other out during difficult times like these.
We must come together as a nation in order for us all to move forward from such devastation with strength and resilience.
Donald Trump’s words were a reminder of this shared responsibility.
