Devon Archer was grinning cheerfully when he showed up to testify in front of Congress. He was happy to spill all the Biden beans to the House Oversight Committee because the family didn’t think twice about throwing him under a bus when it suited them. Yes, Joe is the “Big Guy” and the only product “brand” Hunter had to deal. Joe, Democrats scream in horror, only talked about the “weather,” how can that be bad? Ask Michael “The Nose” Mancuso. He just got 11 months for asking Michael Urvino “are you gonna do the gravy today or make the sauce?” The FBI called that mafia code. He would have done the time even if he was really talking about sauce, because they’re both felons and Nose was on parole. Still, the feds made a point of saying it was, indeed, code. When Joe talked about what a great day it was, everyone at the meeting knew what was really being said.
Archer not intimidated
After DOJ sent him an intimidating letter, one he alleges was intended to “chill” his testimony, Hunter Biden’s former friend and business partner Devon Archer appeared before Congress.
He was there to provide “bombshell” testimony about Joe Biden’s direct involvement in a whole bunch of shady business deals.
On Monday, July 31, the witness arrived 15 minutes late to his 10 a.m. deposition but smiling and seemingly relaxed. He couldn’t wait to fill in the House Oversight Committee about how the Big Guy was also “the brand” of goods which Hunter Biden was peddling around the planet.
Update: The weaponized DOJ now “clarifies” they won’t try to prevent Devon Archer from testifying tomorrow. Witness intimidation & obstruction? Nah, nothing to see here. pic.twitter.com/tHQ6ueFfZs

Democrats are in serious panic mode today. Archer is expected to be grilled relentlessly behind closed doors for a good four to five hours.
Devon is hoping that what he has to tell the committee is good enough for them to recommend he spend his one year and a day prison sentence on home detention. That’s an unrelated matter which Archer insists he’s only going down on because the Bidens wanted him on ice and out of the way.
That’s what the intimidation letter was about. It appeared on the surface, before the DOJ walked it back, that he might be arrested before he could testify. He still has to pick a firm date to check in for prison, but the DOJ clarified, he can wait until Congress gets done with him. He’s hoping to avoid it completely and might earn some leniency.
The illusion of access
If Hunter wasn’t actually selling access to Big Guy Joe Biden for big bucks, CNN is reporting that Archer claims he was certainly selling the illusion of access. They also think Democrat lawmaker Dan Goldman did a good job of diffusing Archer’s testimony by limiting it to chit-chat about the weather. That’s the only straw they have to grasp at and they’re pulling it so hard it’s coming out by the roots.
Organized crime families like the Bonannos or Bidens know how to say things on the phone without saying a word. The deals are arranged ahead of time and the approval or denial from the Godfather can be a yes or no on anything. A statement like “no, I don’t feel like golf today,” usually has nothing to do with golf.
It was common practice for Hunter to call his dad and put the live speakerphone down on the table. Joe didn’t always know that but the clients never noticed the difference. All they knew was that Joe was there at Hunter’s call and that’s all that mattered.

After one Burisma board meeting, for instance, Mykola Zlochevsky ordered Hunter, “call D.C.!” He was a tad upset about a problem with a prosecutor he was supposed to be paying Joe to fix. Archer knows because he was also on the Burisma board, being paid a million dollars a year to do nothing.
In a quick statement, James Comer poked his head out of the hearing to note “when Joe Biden was Vice President of the United States, he joined Hunter Biden’s dinners with his foreign business associates in person or by speakerphone over 20 times.” Some of the meetings were in person. Archer “further confirmed that then-Vice President Biden attended an April 2015 dinner at Washington’s Cafe Milano with Pozharskyi and former Moscow first lady Yelena Baturina, as previously reported.” Former FBI official Chris Swecker points out, “things didn’t look good” for Joe Biden, noting the many speakerphone calls.
“As head of the criminal division, we saw this quite a bit in bribery cases, it’s called stream of services. You sell access or something of value and you get something back in return, but it’s not an express quid pro quo. It’s just an understanding but if you can match up the services within a reasonable period of time, with the thing of benefit, in this case, $10 million, or whatever it is, then you have bribery.“
