9/11

Democrat Leaders Continued to Make WILD Claims About 9/11…Now Families Have Come Forward

Families of 9/11 victims are expressing their anger at the fact that leading Democrats continue to claim that the events of January 6 were worse than an attack which killed more than 3,000 innocent people. The stunning display of hyperbole has apparently convinced many rank and file Democrats and even some Republicans, something which those with a personal connection to 9/11 are finding to be almost too incredible to believe.

1,000 times worse than 9/11?

The attacks on 9/11 killed thousands of American civilians and sparked wars which left hundreds of thousands of people dead and millions homeless in multiple countries. America was deeply and permanently changed by that day.

Steve Schmidt, co-founder of the Lincoln Project, says that all of this pales in comparison to January 6, a political protest in which one American was killed by her own government.

Schmidt claims that “in the end , the 1/6 attacks are likely to kill a lot more Americans than were killed in the 9/11 attacks.” S.V. Dáte of the Huffington Post concurred, stating that January 6 was “1000 percent worse” than 9/11.”

Joe Connor, who personally witnessed the events of 9/11 and lost a cousin in the attacks, described the narrative as an attempt at gas lighting Americans and trivializing the terrorist attacks.

Others have similarly spoken out about the shock of seeing the loss of their loved ones twisted and abused for political gain by unscrupulous politicians and journalists.

When these outlandish comparisons are being made by the media and political leaders who decide what truth is in America, it is difficult even for real victims and families to make their voices heard over the hyperbolic claims.

Worse than 9/11

An insulting comparison

Perhaps the only identifiable similarity between 9/11 and January 6 is the fact that both days have clearly changed America permanently.

Politicians and journalists can claim with straight faces that the latter was 1,000 times worse than 9/11 because from their perspective it genuinely was far more traumatic.

Thousands of normal people being killed is nothing compared to several hundred members of Congress feeling several minutes of fear and uncertainty. Only commoners are supposed to experience those feelings.

The even more terrifying part of the experience from their perspective is the realization that there are some Americans who are not entirely apathetic and complacent in the face of a questionable election.

Comparisons to 9/11 began almost immediately in January and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi quickly embraced the narrative with her own rhetoric relating to the event.

Families and survivors of that actual attack understand how insulting and contemptuous these comparisons are, even if the Democrats making them do not.
