The latest move by Joe Biden to bolster his campaign staff is not going to go over well with anyone.
Biden is rehiring TJ Ducklo.
This is the young man that berated a Politico reporter for daring to do a story about Ducklo dating a member of the media.
Really, Joe?
At the time this all went down, Ducklo was dating an Axios reporter and then-Politico reporter Tara Palmeri found out about it.
When she reached out to Ducklo about the story, he responded, “I will destroy you.”
He also told her that she was only doing the story because someone “wanted to fu**” the Axios reporter and not her.
Biden, when taking office, stated, “If you’re ever working with me, and I hear you treat another colleague with disrespect, talk down to someone, I promise you I will fire you on the spot. On the spot.
“No ifs, ands or buts – everybody, everybody is entitled to be treated with decency and dignity.
“That’s been missing in a big way for the last four years.”
Ducklo was not fired, however, but he did resign… but now he is back.
After it became public news that Ducklo was coming back, White House adviser Anita Dunn was asked about his previous comments.
She responded by calling Ducklo an “incredibly talented professional” who “earned confidence and trust at every level.”
She also stated that he paid a price for what he did and now he should be given another chance.
So much for Joe’s media rules, which even he does not follow!
