Major Sports Star DEAD… Fans in SHOCK

San Diego baseball fans have not had a lot to get excited about over the years.

There are only two Hall of Fame players all-time that went in as Padres.

While Nate Colbert was not a HOF player, he was great, and he has his best years with the Padres.

Sadly, he has passed away at the age of 76.

Gone

Colbert had some great days with the bad.

However, nothing will beat his 1972 doubleheader performance.

At the time, it was a record-setting performance.

Over the two games, he smacked five home runs and 13 RBIs.

He was inducted into the Padres Hall of Fame in 1999.

Padres Chairman Peter Seidler stated, “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Padres Hall of Famer Nate Colbert.

“Our hearts go out to his wife, Kasey, and the entire Colbert family at this very difficult time.”

Rest in peace, sir, because you were a joy to watch on the field.
