The virus isn’t going anywhere, folks. Any mom could tell you that. They mutate and come back around. There’s bacteria resistant to penicillin. It stands to reason for an organism to live that a virus might learn to be resistant to a vaccine supposedly designed to provide immunity. Annual flu shots are done with the warning that the season is coming, those have to be redone every year too.
The warning
That the vaccine will only be effective for a particular length of time was given by the Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla. Bourla spoke on Fox News America’s Newsroom Tuesday about Pfizer’s current vaccine approval.
It also stands to reason Pfizer would be working on a vaccine to cover the mutations so research is being done. “Every time that the variant appears in the world, our scientists are getting their hands around it,” Bourla noted, “They are researching to see if this variant can escape the protection of our vaccine. We haven’t identified any yet but we believe that it is likely that one day, one of them will emerge.”
That we should need a warning at all
Given the nature of a virus shows a number of things, among them that people are being told to ignore those they’ve listened to in the past. Haven’t we always been told when you get a virus, such as the common cold, that you need to medicate for symptoms, there’s no “cure”?
Dr. Fauci, you of all people should know better than to blame people refusing the vaccine for spreading a virus. That’s one of many reasons people are refusing to be vaccinated. We’re suddenly being told there’s a cure for a virus when conventional medicine has told us for decades that viruses need to be allowed to run their course.
Don’t give people a warning
When it’s irrelevant. Fauci was interviewed on TODAY, “If we get through the winter, I hope as we get to the spring of 2022, we’ll be there. I hope so. It’s up to us.” People don’t believe you when, for among other reasons, we get strung along. Maybe next season. Maybe next month. You stop listening.
Bourla will continue to make the vaccines available worldwide. There’s now a process in place to identify a variant quickly, within 95 days. Bourla confirmed, “We have built a process that within 95 days from the day that we identify a variant as a variant of concern, we will be able to have a vaccine tailor-made against this variant.”
