The G7 group of world economic leaders gathered Friday to welcome Joe Biden, who arrived ready to apologize to France, Germany, and China for Donald Trump’s deplorable behavior. Russia is being blamed for all the world’s problems even though China and their Asian Andromeda Strain wiped out all the world’s economies, large and small. The yearly summit opened Friday with official events but Democrat leaning liberal world leaders don’t trust Biden to deliver.
Joe brings the drugs
Joe Biden is trying to stay in the center of the spotlight, bragging about providing half a billion vaccine doses to underprivileged nations.
The gathered leaders posed for the traditional group photo with “scenic Carbis Bay in the background.” The meeting is being held on the coast at picturesque Cornwall, England.
Overshadowing the festivities is “skepticism” over the Joe Biden “message promoting democracy over autocracy.” He’s not convincing them that he’s liberal enough.
“Developments back home — including revelations about the Justice Department’s pursuit of Democrats’ data and an impasse in Congress on Biden’s agenda — have undercut his pitch,” CNN observes.
Biden was observed hanging out with President Emmanuel Macron of France and rainbow-sock-wearing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada. He was especially cozy with Macron, walking “arm-in-arm” from the platform where the photo was taken. Joe then posed for a staged photo shoot with Boris Johnson “designed to replicate a historic World War II alliance.”
That should have irked His Wisdom to no end, considering Johnson’s famous as the British Donald Trump. They even have the same hair. Italy and Japan have been low key in the proceedings so far, spending most of the time at the buffet table.
Better him than Trump
Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany, was a lot happier to be shaking the hand of Imperial Leader Biden than his deplorable predecessor. She kind of misses Rick Grenell though.
She was thrilled to tell the the press how “very happy” she is to have Joe there. He’s done so much for globalism by erasing America’s southern border. “I am, of course, happy that the American President is present here.
Being able to meet Joe Biden is obviously important because he stands for the commitment to multilateralism which we were missing in recent years,” Merkel gushed.
“We will find strong words here in support of multilateralism and also for values based multilateralism which will lead to a dispute with Russia and in some aspects also with China.” She’ll be paying a visit to the Imperial Palace in Washington next month.
Jill Biden came along for the ride on Air Force one and she told the gathering that her husband has “been studying for weeks working up for today. He knows most of the leaders that will be here. Joe loves foreign policy. This is his forte.” He knows which fork to use for the salad too.
He says they will “discuss ways to forge a more fair, sustainable, and inclusive global economy that meets the unique challenges of our time.
